The Boil Water Advisory Has Been Lifted as of November 9
Dear Valued Customers,
Re: Boil Water Advisory Lifted and Testing Completed- PWS TX0910012
We are pleased to inform you that the boil water advisory in your area has been lifted, and comprehensive testing has been successfully completed following a mainline break incident. Your patience and cooperation during this challenging period are greatly appreciated.
On November 8, 2023, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Gunter public water system, TX0910012, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of November 9, 2023.
At Mustang Special Utility District, the safety and well-being of our customers are paramount, and we have been working tirelessly to address the mainline break issue and to ensure that your water supply is safe for consumption.
We understand that a boil water advisory can be inconvenient and concerning, and we want to reassure you that your health and safety have been our top priority throughout this process. Our commitment to providing clean and safe drinking water is unwavering. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the mainline break, the subsequent water testing, or the quality of your water supply, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team at 940-440-9561 or email us.
