A Dedicated Volunteer Fire Department

Gunter Fire and Rescue has existed since 1949 and has been a volunteer department from the beginning. The City of Gunter strongly supports the Gunter Fire Department and maintains a full complement of fire apparatus our volunteers use in a fire emergency. 

Volunteer duties include training, equipment maintenance, fire suppression, and related emergency services. The department is always looking for more volunteers, so contact us to volunteer.
